Qualifications

I earned my Juris Doctor degree from the Massachusetts School of Law, in Andover, Massachusetts.  I am licensed to practice law in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. 
 
Currently, I volunteer at the Lawyer of the Day pro bono program at the Essex County Probate Court in Lawrence, MA, several days per quarter.  I am also a member of the Lawrence Bar Association, the New Hampshire Bar Association, the Women's Bar Association, and Starting Out Solo (SOS).  I am a volunteer attorney for the Women's Bar Foundation, and I have truly enjoyed helping people who otherwise would not have an attorney on their side.
 
I also have extensive experience in working with mentally ill and mentally disabled adults and children, and I have worked with children who are in the care and custody of the Massachusetts Department of Children and Family (formerly DSS).  I am a Court Investigator for Middlesex County Juvenile Court in Massachusetts, and I am a certified New Hampshire Guardian Ad Litem in Superior Court and Family Divisions.
